I was born in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam in 1992. In 2010, I studied at HCMC University of Science, and obtained the B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2014.

During my undergraduate period, I was mainly mentored by Prof. Nguyen Thanh Long, my thesis advisor, by Prof. Dang Duc Trong and Prof. Nguyen Huy Tuan, who gave me the first bricks of my research career. Since 2013, I was deeply impressed by the beauty of approximation methods for partial differential equations and the first work on this field lay in my B.Sc. thesis, study approximation schemes for a nonlinear Kirchhoff wave equation.

I also put myself into the computational study of equations, such as reaction-diffusion equations backward in time and age-dependent population dynamics problems. During my Ph.D., I will give my concentration on not only understanding approximation theory and scientific computing, but also learning issues in practical applications.
