LUCA Davide

Davide Luca is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Applied Economics at GSSI. He previously was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and holds a PhD in Economic Geography from the London School of Economics. Davide's thesis was awarded the 2016 G. Leonardi PhD Dissertation Prize and the 2014 G. Atalık Prize, both in regional science. Prior to joining GSSI, he worked for the European Commission and consulted for the European Parliament. His research cuts across Economic Geography, Political Economy, and Public Economics, and primarily focuses on Europe and Turkey. His papers have been published in outlets such as the Journal of Economic Geography, World Development, the Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy, and Society, the Journal of Development Studies, and Environment and Planning C. More information about Davide can be found on his webpage.
